Eltra too was born from an entrepreneurial dream that started from a garage. But what initially represented a leisure activity quickly turned into a solid business project and in 1985 the company Eltra was established, based in the current Sarego plant. Since then the company has experienced continuous growth and expansion, both nationally and internationally, so much so that in the 2000s it also founded two strategic branches in Slovakia and China. In 2004 Eltra became a joint stock company and in 2008 it became part of the Avago Technologies Group,thanks to which it has expanded its technological know-how and its strength in the global market, without however abandoning its Italian identity and the quality that characterizes Made in Italy. Eltra has been present in the industrial automation sensor market since 1985 . In these 30 years the company has grown constantly by expanding its technological offer (over 5,000 unique codes and an average of 120,000 items produced annually), maintaining design flexibility and production customization over time based on the specific needs of the customer, which has always been distinctive features of the Eltra brand. The company has a wide range of items in the catalog (incremental and absolute rotary encoders, explosion-proof, wire, magnetic models, magnetic and optical linear measurement systems also operating with field buses, accessories for various applications, etc.) , also offering its customers a design and development service for customized models.
