PC, PMMA, PS, MS Sheet Production Line

JINHU sheet production line can process sheet with maximum width of 2 meters and thickness range of 1.5 mm to 15 mm. Plastic sheet produced by the JINHU sheet production line has superior transmission and aging resistance. Ultraviolet rays and temperature in the range of -40 oC to +120 oC does not affect the quality and physical properties of sheet. Its impact resistance is 250-300 times that of normal glass. The sheet is light weight, easy to install and has good thermoforming performance. These sheets have good sound insulation and are preferred materials for noise barriers.

In sheet production line, raw materials are fed into barrel of the extruder through hopper. Resins comes into contact with screw through the feed throat which is an opening near the rear of the barrel of extruder. After that, rotating screw forces the resin forward into the heated barrel. The molten plastic exit from front of the barrel and enters the die through screen pack/breaker plate. The screen pack and breaker plate create back pressure in the barrel which is required for uniform melting and proper mixing of the polymer. When molten plastic enters into the die, the die gives the final shape. Then product cooling process is achieved by pulling the extrudate through a set of cooling rolls. In sheet production line, these cooling rolls provides necessary cooling as well as determine sheet thickness and surface texture.
